What We Stand For
Premier Medical Transit is a locally owned and operated non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) company based in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. We provide scheduled ambulatory transportation for patients who can safely enter and exit the vehicle with minimal assistance.
We serve riders in Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City), Perquimans County (Hertford), and Camden County (Camden, South Mills). We are an NC Medicaid enrolled NEMT provider and also offer private-pay transportation for riders who prefer to book directly.

Our mission is simple: make sure no one in our community misses a medical appointment because of transportation. We believe that reliable, compassionate, on-time rides are the foundation of consistent healthcare access.

Looking Ahead
We are actively pursuing a Veterans Care Agreement (VCA) with the Hampton VA Medical Center to provide ambulatory transportation for veterans in northeastern North Carolina. We believe our veterans deserve the same level of reliable, compassionate transportation that we provide to all our riders.
